When I moved back to San Francisco, I was lucky enough to move in with my friend, Sheila and her dog, Ginger.  Ginger is a rescue dog with the biggest heart.  She spends half her time on her hind legs and loves to love. She is definitely top ten cutest dogs in SF.   I knew I had to get Ginger on FWB and when I discovered her spot on impersonation of a siren, it was on.  Every time a fire truck went by, I would be scrambling to get my phone and praying that she was feeling it that day.  Thanks GG for showing me your skills and being a constant reminder to live in the moment and always have fun.

In this Friendships With Benefits, Charlie helps me spice up my apartment by teaching me an awesome way to make art.  We had a lot of fun and my painting is now hanging above my bed.  Friends like Charlie is one of the many reasons why I love SF.  I met Charlie through my friend, Tracy (who taught me how to make a mean margarita).  They went to college at UNH together.  In SF, it’s so easy to connect with friends of friends. He’s an awesome and hilarious guy and obviously, an amazing and resourceful artist.  Thanks Charlie for teaching me how to do a geometric painting and again, if you want to buy one of our pieces, just let us know!

Today my friend and roommate, Steve, shows me how to make your own soda water with your own soda water making machine.  Steve is a Do It Yourself kind of guy and this FWB proves that.  Thanks Steve for showing me something that I would NEVER be able to do own my own and showing me that it can be done!  Good luck in your new house!  You’re going to missed.

My friend, Erica Bornstein, teaches me how to do a sun salutation in yoga.  Erica and I grew up together in Canton, MA and have been friends since 6th grade.  She is a very talented dancer and amazing yoga teacher.  She teaches all over Boston and if you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and go to a class!   “Like”her on Facebook to see her schedule, get healthy fitness tips and check out her latest playlists.  Thanks Bornsmaggs!  I’m so proud of you for becoming one of Boston’s best yoga teachers. xo

My friend, Tracy, came into town for work from SF and was able to stay with me for the weekend.  We grew up in the same area of town and have been friends since first grade.  It was great learning her margarita recipe and I will definitely use it in the future.  This video was made after a really fun night of dinner and drinks and then a full day of enoying Brooklyn, so we were a little tired but we pulled through and made it happen. Thanks again Tray!!!!

Today my friend, Rachel, shows me how to arrange flowers.  I was really excited because Rachel is super creative and really knowledgeable.   I met Rachel when I first moved to NYC in 2008.  She was dating one of my really good friends from camp, Andy, and they have since married.  We instantly hit it off and I love hanging with her and of course, her pup, Frida!  Check Rachel out at RachelMercier.com to see more of her amazing work as well as her blog at mercierbeaucoup.com

We had a lot of fun filming as well as some technical difficulties as this was my second go at Friendships With Benefits.  Along with learning how to make an awesome arrangement, I also learned a lot of lessons for future Friendships With Benefits i.e.-make sure your phone has enough space to film, you can’t directly download videos off youtube and things cannot always be perfect.  Enjoy the video and going through the Friendships With Benefits process with me!  Thanks so much to Rachel for giving an awesome lesson and Andy for filming and dealing with our technical issues:)
