I loved everything about this FWB. The topic, the way it came together and, of course, the people involved.  C-Love is so talented and you need to follow her on Facebook and Instagram to see her amazing art and also to find the best parties in SF.

Chelsea and I met Cassandra in September at Mighty where she FaDazzled our face for the first time.  We continued to see Cassandra around town and on FB FaDazzling the beautiful people of San Francisco.  On New Years Day, we ran into each other at Breakfast of Champions, where C-Love once again FaDazzled our faces and discussed that an FWB needed to happen.

I love this FWB so much because C-Love’s talent brought our friendship together and I love supporting her because she is following her purpose on her own path and making it happen one amazing FaDazzle and party at a time.

In this Friendships With Benefits, Charlie helps me spice up my apartment by teaching me an awesome way to make art.  We had a lot of fun and my painting is now hanging above my bed.  Friends like Charlie is one of the many reasons why I love SF.  I met Charlie through my friend, Tracy (who taught me how to make a mean margarita).  They went to college at UNH together.  In SF, it’s so easy to connect with friends of friends. He’s an awesome and hilarious guy and obviously, an amazing and resourceful artist.  Thanks Charlie for teaching me how to do a geometric painting and again, if you want to buy one of our pieces, just let us know!

Ashley is one of my very good friends from high school who lives in San Francisco.  We went through many potential FWB lessons and finally after visiting her amazing and well decorated apartment, it was decided.  Ashley would teach me how to properly fold a towel.  She learned this folding technique from her friend, Jen, and now she passed on the goodness so we can all learn how to consistently fold a towel like Martha Stewart. Today, my roommate even made a comment about how well I folded my towels.  Benefits!  So, I suggest you all try to learn this simple folding technique.  Thanks, Ash for legit changing my future in towel folding.  Much love.

My friend, Sharon, is super creative and seriously crafty and I must say, I’m a little envious of her skills. She even has a craft corner in her apartment.  Today, in said craft corner,  Sharon shows me how use her button maker to make button pins.  We had an awesome time making this FWB and I’m totally inspired to dedicate more time to arts and crafts.  Thanks Sharon for the inspiration, bomb lunch, and good times!

My very musically talented friend, Marco, teaches me the proper techniques of singing.  This FWB was mentally really hard for me and filled with anxiety. Marco was awesome and very supportive.  It’s funny because I call myself a “professional singer” but my audience usually consists of two year olds and my repertoire includes “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and “Open Shut Them.” I think since this lesson the kids have noticed an improvement and are really feeling my new vocal abilities.  Thanks Marco for being awesome teacher!  You’re so talented and I love your messy but quaffed style:)

My friend, coworker and all around awesome person, Samona, blows my mind by showing me what a weave entails.  Samona and I work together in a center for developmentally delayed toddlers. She’s so patient and great with the children as well as the adults;)  This FWB was probably the most enlightening one yet.  I had no idea the logistics and skills behind sewing in a weave.  Thanks so much Samona for always entertaining and enlightening me!

Today my friend and roommate, Steve, shows me how to make your own soda water with your own soda water making machine.  Steve is a Do It Yourself kind of guy and this FWB proves that.  Thanks Steve for showing me something that I would NEVER be able to do own my own and showing me that it can be done!  Good luck in your new house!  You’re going to missed.

My friend and neighbor, Cindy, teaches me some serious knife skills.  As you will soon find out, I’m not the most talented with the chef’s knife but Cindy knows what she’s talking about and shows me her ways.  I’ve been trying to cook more so I think this lesson will definitely help the cause.   Thanks Cin for teaching me and always being there for me! xo

Watch as my friend and former camper, Lauren Brenner, teaches me an amazing hair technique: curling your hair with a flat iron.  Lauren is one of NYC’s top beauty and fashion bloggers where she gives great beauty tips and fashion finds.  Check out her amazing blog at Everyday To Runway and like her page on Facebook.  Thanks Brenner for showing me your ways!   I’ve been practicing! xo

Today my friend, Monica, shows me how to do Newspaper Nails aka magazine nails since we used a magazine instead.  This was super fun because I never seek out these DIY techniques myself but love how it looks and learning how easy it actually is to do.  Monica and I met only a few months ago when she joined LivingSocial Adventures and it’s been great getting to know her, bonding over our shared love of California and learning about her fun, crafty projects.  Monica- you are an awesome teacher and definitely a trendsetter with these nails.  Thanks for teaching me. I’ll def be rocking them in the future!!!
