My friend, Jordan, teaches me how to juggle in Madison Square Park.  Although we had some interruptions including the park ranger telling us to move off the grass and a curious one year old, Jordan was an awesome teacher and I think I have real potential in a future career as a juggling clown.  Thanks again, Juggling Master!

My best friend from college, Hilary, teaches me how to make delicious and simple recipes for easy summer hosting.  We had such an amazing and relaxing weekend in Fire Island and I’m happy I get to always remember it through this Friendships With Benefits lesson.  You can check out Hilary’s awesome blog at ientertainmyself.com.   Thanks Hil for always believing in me and teaching me these awesome recipes!  Much love, NSLP!

Today, I learn how to make sunprints from my friend, Marisa.  I met Marisa when I was living in San Diego in 2009 through Travis, one of my really good friends who was my roommate at the time.  She was also attending grad school at SDSU working towards her MFA.  She is such a talented photographer and has had her work shown all over NYC.  Check her out at marisascheinfeld.com.  Thanks again, Marisa! I always love hanging out and appreciate how open you are to all my new projects.

While back home (Canton, MA), I was hanging out at my friend Heather’s apartment in Boston when I asked her how she gets her hair to look like she just came off the beach.  The next thing I know I’m in her size too small bathrobe scrunching away with our friend, Julie, manning the IPhone.  We have all known each other since we were kids and we had so much fun making this vlog as well hanging out at the party that night.  Thanks Heatha B!

Today, my friend and roommate, Corey, teaches me how to make her favorite chocolate chip cookie.  Corey is an amazing baker and cook and there is always something delicious sitting on our kitchen table which is obviously awesome/detrimental since I have no control when it comes to sweets.  I met Corey when she moved in last October and she’s been a wonderful roommate and friend.  Thanks Cor for sharing your amazing recipe on Friendships with Benefits!!

My friend, Tracy, came into town for work from SF and was able to stay with me for the weekend.  We grew up in the same area of town and have been friends since first grade.  It was great learning her margarita recipe and I will definitely use it in the future.  This video was made after a really fun night of dinner and drinks and then a full day of enoying Brooklyn, so we were a little tired but we pulled through and made it happen. Thanks again Tray!!!!

Today my friend, Rachel, shows me how to arrange flowers.  I was really excited because Rachel is super creative and really knowledgeable.   I met Rachel when I first moved to NYC in 2008.  She was dating one of my really good friends from camp, Andy, and they have since married.  We instantly hit it off and I love hanging with her and of course, her pup, Frida!  Check Rachel out at RachelMercier.com to see more of her amazing work as well as her blog at mercierbeaucoup.com

We had a lot of fun filming as well as some technical difficulties as this was my second go at Friendships With Benefits.  Along with learning how to make an awesome arrangement, I also learned a lot of lessons for future Friendships With Benefits i.e.-make sure your phone has enough space to film, you can’t directly download videos off youtube and things cannot always be perfect.  Enjoy the video and going through the Friendships With Benefits process with me!  Thanks so much to Rachel for giving an awesome lesson and Andy for filming and dealing with our technical issues:)
